PUMPKIN PARTY - 17TH OCTOBER 2026
Join us on Saturday 17th October for the Chawton Gardening Club's Annual Big Pumpkin Weigh-In at Chawton Village Hall. The festivities will take place from 6:00pm to 8:00pm, and everyone is warmly invited to come along and enjoy a fun-filled evening with friends, neighbours, and fellow gardening enthusiasts. Whether you've grown a giant pumpkin or simply want to join in the celebrations, we'd love to see you there. Home-grown pumpkins will be weighed, with prizes awarded in a variety of categories, including the coveted award for Biggest Pumpkin of the Year. There will also be prizes for:
- The best dressed pumpkin
- Children in Halloween fancy dress
Children can enjoy Halloween-themed activities and games (and party food!), and wine and beer will be available for the adults! No pumpkin is required to attend, just bring your enthusiasm and enjoy one of Chawton's favourite community events. This is a wonderful village occasion, and everyone is welcome.
Donations on the evening are greatly appreciated and help us continue to run Chawton Gardening Club events throughout the year.
